Products from the flexographic printing department have recently enjoyed increased customer interest. The determination to respond flexibly to this demand led to the expansion of the machinery at the subsidiary Chemosvit Folie. The investment takes the form of a new Miraflex M8 flexo printing machine from Windmöller & Hölscher.
It is natural that the quantitative and qualitative requirements are increasing with the growing interest in flexographic products. It is also natural that when making investment decisions, they were among the key indicators for choosing the right supplier and type of technology.
Chemosvit Folie has long experience with machinery from Windmöller & Hölscher. The flexographic printing department has so far been equipped with three machines from this company. Thanks to this, it will be possible to share, procure and better correct work with printing sleeves, adapters or spare parts. At the same time, the substitutability of operators within the department and between individual machines will improve.
The new 8-colour Miraflex M8 machine is equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware systems, making it the most productive machine in the flexo printing department.

Its installation began in April and, together with warranty tests, should be completed in May. The warranty tests consist of the most demanding printing motifs and should prove all declared parameters. The machine should be in full operation from June.
After its start-up, the capacity of the flexographic printing department will increase by a volume of 72 mil m²/year, 77 mil bm/year and 1900 t/year. This will bring room for increased activity not only in production and development, but also sales. At the same time, the company’s competitiveness in the market for flexographic printing products will be strengthened.
