Digitization is intended to identify and improve work management, prescribing and monitoring compliance with technological procedures, quality parameters and preventive maintenance processes more accurately. The aim is also to achieve energy savings, as the EU has adopted measures to the obligation of member states to gradually reduce their carbon footprint and achieve carbon neutrality.
The Digitization Board has decided to prepare the selection of a new ERP system by 2023 and create a new organizational function. A standardized and comprehensive solution on the future unified platform as well as the internal and group use of resources and capacities will be significant.
In order to improve processes, we need to obtain data on their progress. For this purpose has been specified the D2000 platform, in which it is possible to collect data from production, energy and other equipment comprehensively.
For the improved provision of comprehensive information and analytical work, the environment of the Qlik Sense program was specified, which is fully integrated with the central ERP database environments of individual companies.
The first groups of employees from ICT and subsidiaries have already undergone training for creating application design and architecture of the new system. The expected benefit of a unified platform is cooperation and the possibility of carrying out the necessary work from the internal resources of the Group’s companies. It will be, for example, the collaboration of Chemosvit Strojchem in the requirement for the installation of HW and communication means or ICT for application services.
These goals are a commitment for us to continue the process improvement in all companies of the Group and keep up with the challenges of the market and modern times.
