On 19.-20.10.2023, the company Chemosvit Folie, s. r. o. participated in the 11th. Obalko Packaging Congress in Prague. Packaging Congress Obalko is the largest congress of professionals in the field of packaging in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The aim of the congress is to provide a platform for the discussion of key issues affecting the packaging market and to inspire packaging professionals on how to improve packaging processes. The main theme of this year’s congress is a tsunami of regulations, technological changes and innovation.
The Packaging of the Year 2023 Gala was held as part of the Packaging Congress. PACKAGING OF THE YEAR is a prestigious competition that annually recognizes the best innovations, creativity and sustainability in the packaging industry. This event provides a platform for the presentation of the latest trends and technologies, and also recognizes those who create cutting-edge packaging with respect to the environment and society. The PACKAGING OF THE YEAR competition, certified by the World Packaging Organization, is the gateway to the WorldStar Packaging Awards.
Chemosvit Folie won the 23rd edition of the Packaging of the Year competition with its monostructure PE laminate for packaging coffee and powder mixtures. The award-winning structure was tested on packaging machines at a local coffee producer. Packing of the product with the application of valve was possible without major adjustments to packaging machine.
